Laurette Chunka has been actively
involved with Elder Care since 1977. She has
served hundreds of seniors as a Retirement
Consultant with a management company for nursing
homes, assisted living facilities and independent
living facilities. As a Dale Carnegie
Training Consultant, Laurette has made numerous
motivating and inspiring presentations to seniors
regarding Memory Techniques, Handling Stress and How
to Stop Worrying and Start Living.
Ms. Chunka is a Certified
Senior Advisor, which distinguishes her on a
national level as a professional committed to the
best interests of seniors and their families. She is
devoted to advocacy of seniors and recognizing their
unique needs and concerns. Laurette is an active
member of the Elder Services Resource Network, an
Executive Board member of the Broward Coalition on
Aging and on the Advisory Council of Senior
Volunteer Services, Inc.
Laurette’s personal life involves extensive
volunteering which currently includes hospice work
and pet therapy at nursing homes. She is employed as
the Family Services and Outreach Coordinator for the
Law Offices of Alice Reiter Feld, PA, a board
certified elder law attorney, in Tamarac and Delray
Beach, FL., where she assists elders and their
families in accessing resources to meet their needs. |
