Somehow I ran across you today and you may be exactly the assistance I'm looking for! I'm dealing with a retired military officer who had a stroke in 2007 and has been dealing with dementia ever since. He's also a recent amputee (Peripheral Artery Disease, Sept. 2011) and more recently a cancer diagnosis. He's decided he'd rather die than undergo radiation so, for the past month, we've been dealing with home hospice care! His exact condition is unknown at this time. The progression of the cancer is unknown at this time. He won't co-operate with feedings via "peg" tube, won't take his medications (except pain) and we're just trying to keep him comfortable. There's a lot to this story! Contact me if you think you can be of assistance!

Hi, I would love to work for your law firm, are you hiring?
It sounds like you really care for the elderly!! It is sad to see what happens in certain situations. I took care of my elderly neighbor for 5 years after he went through numerous CNA's who took his money, car, personal belongings, and even going as far as opening new credit cards in his name. I never experienced this before, and cannot imagine how many elderly people go through this without knowing it. Breaks my heart. MaryPat
