Nearly 3 in 4 Need More

Nearly 3 in 4 Need More” is the new slogan being rolled out for Long Term Care Awareness Month by the Long Term Care Insurance industry.  It is designed to make consumers aware that 3 out of 4 consumers over 65 will need more than Medicare and that families must plan for the unfortunate consequences of unexpected long term care needs.

To their credit, their goal is not only to sell insurance, it is education as well.  In fact, one of the goals of the campaign is to:
Educate the public on the fact that long term care insurance may not be for everyone but that everyone needs to plan for long term care.

Our office specializes in Long Term Care Needs Planning.  Long Term Care Needs Planning should start as young as possible.  No matter what age we see our clients, during this process, we counsel regarding Long Term Care insurance and other options to protect their assets in case of incapacity.

We did not need a slogan – we see the statistics up front and personal every day.  We see families spend down thousands of dollars a month because of lack of planning.

If you or someone you care about is afraid of spending down all their hard earned money on long term care needs, than we welcome the opportunity to guide them on this Long Term Care Needs Journey.

Sincerely,

Alice Reiter Feld
